The management at NIB gave us their brief for their new call centre in Gosford: a call centre that reflects a fun, engaging, cost effective and functional workplace. The first observation our design team made was the limited natural light available at this location. As you can see from the photos, they didn’t hold back on the use of fun and exciting colour schemes throughout the office, creating a vibrant work space given the limited availability of natural light. The coaching booths installed were sectioned off from the main office environment, however not locked away. The team installed a number of different break-out areas surrounding the work stations. This enabled staff to have a choice of location for casual meetings, lunch breaks and brain storm sessions.
